Motivational life coach, strategic talent manager and the author can all be used to describe Anita Kanti. Anita has made it her mission to create a life of purpose for herself and others. Offering strategies to help clients identify and optimize their strengths to create a pathway of success, Anita readily draws upon her own experiences and personal struggles.

We sat down with Anita to learn a little more about what makes her tick.

Q. You’re quite a busy woman, what are your top tips for managing stress?

Anita: 1. Introspection journaling 2. Tibetan singing bowls 3. Calling a mentor 4. Meditation 5. Reading for betterment and personal development perspectives

Q. What’s one thing in your routine that you do consistently that has made a huge difference in your personal or business life?

Anita: As Tony Robbins recommends, I feed my mind 30 minutes a day with some type of education for personal and professional benefit.

Q. What inspired your book Behaving Bravely?

Anita: I never planned to write a book, I told my story to a few clients and a colleague and within a year they all stated I should share my story and as a coach, I felt compelled to offer my hand through Behaving Bravely one I was longing for when it hit some of my hardest times.

Q. Who are your mentors and inspiration? and what knowledge or insight did they give to you that was valuable?

Anita: My Dad, best and one of the smartest men I knew, said “You can” when I would say “I can’t”. I am also a big follower of Tony Robbins, and his one of hundreds of insights such as: “Divorce your story”, and my daughter who is one of my biggest fans and her simple inspiration she has always shared with me.

Q. What is one of the best or most worthwhile investments you’ve ever made?

Anita: Opening a Roth IRA, financial strategic investments, and hiring a physical trainer.

Q. What does your perfect day look like?

Anita: A productive day with connecting with my daughter, physical activity, coaching clients, playing my music, reading, or going for a hike with some good food that is nourishing.

Q. What have been your biggest failures or challenges?

Anita: I lost a business long before I became a coach and with that, I lost my marriage and all my/our finances as well as my confidence.

Q. How did this failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?

Anita: Looking back it was a great life transition and experience in which I turned around in every area of my life. It was the life schooling that geared me up for today.

Q. If someone was to create a TV show about you, what would it be about and what would it be called?

Anita: It would be a talk show with guests and an interactive audience to live better and gain the tools and guidance from experts. I would call it, “Behaving Bravely”.
